You are at least 18 years old;

You are accessing our services for lawful purposes.
4. Nature of Our Services
GenLaw provides non-reserved legal services only. This includes but is not limited to:
Drafting contracts, terms, and legal documents
Providing legal guidance and consultancy
Filing intellectual property applications
Startup legal support
Important: We are not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and do not carry out any activities reserved for regulated law firms under the Legal Services Act 2007.
5. Use of Our Website
You agree:
Not to misuse or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website or systems
Not to use the website for unlawful or harmful purposes
Not to reproduce, copy, or redistribute any content or intellectual property without our written permission
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our site at any time without notice, particularly if we suspect misuse.
6. No Legal Advice Guarantee
While we aim to ensure the accuracy and quality of all legal consultancy provided, the information on our website does not constitute legal advice. Services are delivered only upon formal engagement and agreement with GenLaw.
You should not act or refrain from acting based solely on information from this website without seeking professional advice.
7. Fixed-Fee Projects
All legal consultancy services provided by GenLaw are delivered on a fixed-fee project basis. This means:
Each service is scoped and priced in advance, with a clear deliverable and cost.
There are no hourly rates or surprise fees — you know the cost before work begins.
Payment is due upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing.
This model ensures transparency, predictability, and cost-effectiveness for our clients. Once payment is received, the agreed-upon work begins promptly and is typically delivered within a defined timeline, depending on the nature and complexity of the service.
8. Initial Review Call Fee
Before committing to a fixed-fee service, clients may book a short Initial Review Call with one of our freelance solicitors. This call:
Lasts up to [Insert Duration — e.g., 15 or 30 minutes]
Allows the solicitor to understand your issue, assess whether it falls within our services, and advise on whether and how we can help
Costs £25, payable in advance at the time of booking
Non-Refundable Unless You Proceed
If you choose to proceed with a fixed-fee service after the call, the £25 will be deducted from the total project cost.
If you do not proceed, the £25 fee is non-refundable.
This fee compensates the solicitor for their time, ensures booking commitment, and enables us to maintain a high-quality, low-cost legal consultancy
9. Payment and Fees
All services are offered at fixed fees, as clearly indicated at the point of purchase or in any service agreement. Payments must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to amend pricing or service scope at any time. Any changes will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
10. Refund Policy
Because our services are often customised or involve professional time and effort from the outset, refunds are not guaranteed once a service has been commenced, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
If you are unsatisfied with the service received, please contact us directly at clientsupport@genlawuk.com, and we will review the matter.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and intellectual property on this website are owned or licensed by GenLaw. This includes but is not limited to text, logos, graphics, documents, and software.
